Description
The 3 Series models of the late 80s and early 90s were some of the first BMWs to come with a cooling system made almost entirely out of plastic. Due to the high temperatures and pressures that the system endures, the plastic tanks and fittings on your radiator can also become quite brittle. Over time, your radiator can have its fins damaged by stones and bugs, reducing the efficiency of the cooling system and causing leaks. This radiator is manufactured by NRF, an original equipment supplier to BMW.
Please be aware that due to the fragility of radiators, there is often minor fin damage that occurs during the manufacturing process. In most cases bent fins are unavoidable and will not affect the performance of the radiator. If you have any concerns with your replacement radiator, we encourage you to get in contact with us.

Cannot stress how important it is to buy a genuine radiator for this model. The previous owner had just fitted new non-OEM radiator to the car just before selling. However the bleed screw had gone bad and required replacement, but was a different thread to OEM. No-one was able to source a bleed screw of the correct thread, so I had to replace the entire radiator. (Posted on 16/01/2016)
