Description

Sway bars (also known as anti-roll bars) reduce body roll when cornering. It's the difference between a vehicle that wallows about and one that is sure-footed and confidence inspiring. These links secure the sway bars to the front suspension arms, but after a few years the ball joints will wear out and diminish the vehicle's reactions during cornering. An easy job, replacing the sway bar links is a great way to restore handling to your car. Made by Germany's Febi-Bilstein.

Helpful Tips

Always check the condition of your front control arms ball joints and bushings when working on the suspension.

My car (330i) had swaying issues at speed and body roll. Found the links were shortened BC links for coilovers. These sway bar end links are high quality. The best thing about them is that they have an indention where you can insert a Allen key to stop it from spinning when you try to remove the securing nuts. My OEM ones did not have this which made removal painful. These units are therefore highly superior.

I like the suspension on my cars to be quiet and supple. Replacing the sway bar links added to the quiet solidity of the suspension over bumps so, while not dramatic, did make a noticeable difference.
