Good fit for m42/m44. Have used this on my both my e30 318is and e36 318ti without issue. Highly recommended that you also replace the cam/rocker oil pipe seal (11121247948) on m44 engines (1995 & up) as it will be hard a rock at this point in time and likely not reseal if you remove the valve cover.
