DESCRIPTION

The B4s are Bilstein’s replacement shock absorbers for standard vehicles. These entry-level shocks are designed as direct replacements for your old, tired and potentially leaking factory shocks. Made in Germany by the best in the business, there is nothing cheap about the build quality, nor the way your BMW will drive under a new set of these shocks. The perfect solution for most people, they will restore the finesse and suspension damping to back to how your car did when it rolled out of the factory. 

All variants of the E30 were released with both 45mm and 51mm strut housings, with no strict rules as to which models came out with which. Unfortunately we’re unable to determine which struts your E30 has from your VIN. We strongly advise all customers to measure the diameter of the strut before ordering. A simple way of finding out whether you have 45mm or 51mm suspension on your E30 is by placing a piece of string around the strut tube and then measuring the string. HELPFUL TIPS

The shock absorbers fitted to your car from the factory have a relatively short life before they fall out of there efficacy range and fail to deliver the same damping abilities they once did. Replacing yours will not only overhaul your car’s handling and comfort, but its safety as well.
