Due to the massive internal forces that a water pump endures, it's easy to understand that the bearings are prone to failure over time. Often, the first sign is an overheating engine that's already caused costly damage to the head gasket. We recommend replacement as part of good preventative maintenance. This water pump is manufactured by HEPU to exacting OEM specifications. Made in Germany.
