The E34 5 Series is of the most underrated models to come from BMW, particularly the 540i and M5 variants. The braking system was well ahead of its time, but when the discs starts to become thin, the effective braking performance diminishes. We recommend replacement with Zimmermann discs to restore its braking performance (and with it, your confidence). Zimmermann is an original equipment supplier of brakes to BMW. Made in Germany.
