DESCRIPTION

Over time these hydraulic tensioners can wear out the internal piston seals, creating costly leaks or causing the water pump and alternator to fail. This replacement tensioner is from INA, the original equipment supplier to BMW, and has been repackaged by IPD Germany.

Please note that this is for vehicles with a hydraulic tensioner system only. If you're unsure, please feel free to email us with your VIN, and we'll be happy to check which part is the best one for your car. 

HELPFUL TIPS

It's a good idea to replace the main drive belt and pulleys at the same time.
