The timing belt is a vital component in the motor and must be replaced every 100,000 kilometres. Due to age, heat, and engine torque, the rubber timing belt can stretch or snap, causing a catastrophic engine failure. We highly recommend you replace your timing belt as a part of good preventative maintenance. This kit from IPD makes life a little easier, with all the components you need to replace the timing belt and tensioner to ensure years of trouble-free motoring. The kit includes a belt from Contitech (manufactured by the leaders in rubber products, Continental) and a high quality tensioner and rollers.
