DESCRIPTION

The coolant level sensor is located in the expansion tank and monitors the amount of fluid in the system. In the event the level drops below normal, this sensor sends a signal to illuminate the low-level light on the dash. Precise operation is a must. If your coolant is confirmed to be at the correct level, your coolant level sensor might have failed.

Car on hoist, Coolant drained from block and radiator. Part doesn't fit. i have a 328i coupe built 10.95 so according to clickable site its compatible. Frustrating!

*** We got in touch with Alan after we received this review, and confirmed that the VIN of his 328i does specify this exact coolant level sensor. However, we believe his 328i has been fitted with the earlier version of the level sensor. We do our best to provide the most accurate fitment information for Australian-delivered BMWs, but there can sometimes be anomalies where vehicles have been built around the change-over date.
