DESCRIPTION

The crankshaft position sensor monitors the speed at which the crankshaft turns. Correct readings are a must to adjust for precise spark timing. If your sensor fails, or is giving inaccurate or inconsistent readings, this will result in poor performance and fuel economy. Even a minor malfunction can have serious implications. They shipped it out fast, and after a little arguing on the phone did give a partial refund and updated the website (was listed as a Seimens/VDO sensor and said it was made in germany twice on the page when I ordered it but they now stock/sent a Hella sensor made in china, but they have updated the page after my complaint so noone else should be mislead).

*Comment from Clickable: Regrettably, Ben purchase this sensor just after a new shipment had arrived and we didn't allow time to update the website prior to his purchase. We're very sorry for our mistake/oversight with the listing of our product and offered for the part to be returned for a full refund. Our previous supplier Siemens/VDO has discontinued production of these sensors. The Hella are an excellent alternative and in our opinion, one (if not the only) reliable replacement for these crankshaft sensors available.
