Description

The belt tensioner keeps the main drive belt tight, ensuring there is enough traction for the water pump and alternator to work. Something as simple as a loose belt can cause a failure of both the motor and its electrical systems. This tensioner and pulley assembly is manufactured by INA, original equipment supplier of tensioners to BMW, and repackaged by IPD Germany so it can be sold for a fraction of the dealership price.
