Description

Over time the internal piston seals in these hydraulic tensioners can wear out, reducing the amount of tensioner on the main drive belt, and leading to a failure of the alternator and cooling system. This is a BMW Genuine tensioner assembly that has had the BMW roundel etched off so it can be repackaged as an IPD item, and offered for a fraction of the dealership price. Made in Germany.
