DESCRIPTION

This front wheel bearing and hub assembly is a high-quality replacement for BMW E36, E46, Z3 and E85 Z4 models, supplied by HEPU / IPD and fitted with an SKF bearing.

On these BMW platforms, the front wheel bearing is a sealed, integrated hub unit. Over time, the internal bearing wears, typically showing up as a droning or humming noise that increases with road speed, or a slight roughness when spinning the wheel by hand. Once wear begins, replacement of the complete hub assembly is the correct repair.

What we like about this option is that while it’s supplied as a complete unit by HEPU / IPD, the bearing itself is manufactured by SKF, one of the original equipment suppliers trusted by BMW. This gives you the confidence of OE-level bearing quality, combined with a complete ready-to-install hub assembly.
