DESCRIPTION

The expansion tank stores excess coolant, usually when it’s at an extremely high temperature. As with many BMWs, over time the expansion tank on the E39 will fail and leak due to the constant exposure to heat and pressure. We recognise that the market has been flooded with notoriously cheap aftermarket replacements, so we choose to offer quality replacements from original equipment suppliers. Manufactured by Mahle (BEHR).

HELPFUL TIPS

A replacement bleed screw is not included with this tanks. We strongly recommend purchasing a new bleed screw as a must have item when replacing your expansion tank.

Renowned part that needs to be swapped out on an aging cooling system, very affordable option but still great quality as opposed to the dealer's quote. Next day delivery is also an added bonus, cannot recommend enough.
