DESCRIPTION

The crankcase ventilation oil separator valve (also known as both the PCV and CCV) recirculates the small amount of oil blow-by, created by gases leaking past the rings in the combustion chamber. Over time, the PCV can become clogged or even crack, causing oil leaks and oil to be pushed back and burnt in the combustion chamber. Replace the PCV on your BMW with this inexpensive part manufactured by Febi-Bilstein.

Item as described, fixed my smoking issue and loud vacuum leak.
Good little trick, if you can't get to the bolts or you strip one, is to remove the circular cap and swap the rubber diaphragm as that is what fails on these units.
