DESCRIPTION

This flange connects the upper radiator hose to the cylinder head on E46 318i's (built before 09/2001). Due to the cooling system on many BMWs being made mostly out of plastic, over time these coolant flanges can become brittle and snap.

HELPFUL TIPS

Make sure you have enough coolant on hand before starting the job.
