DESCRIPTION

The oil level sensor ensures your oil doesn’t fall under the minimum level needed for the motor to run. A faulty level sensor can cause inaccurate readings, putting your engine at risk. Made in Germany, this is a BMW Genuine oil level sensor that's had the logo etched off, and has been repackaged as a Hella product.

Does your oil light come Yellow after you have started the car but when you check the dipstick (E46) the level is okay ? Time for a new Oil Level Sensor.

Don't ignore it. Our cars are getting to that age where the can lose oil level unexpectantly, so this can save you from running the engine dry and terminally damaging it.

Note you need to remove the alloy brace undertray (which means you replace those bolts) and drain the engine oil to change it - so ideally do this with an oil and filter change.

Then you can sleep soundly at night and not be nervous when pushing the rev counter to the end. :-)

Buying from Clickable means you get a genuine part and delivered in a timely manner. There are cheaper - but they are cheaper, which isn't sensible from something INSIDE your motor.
