Made in Germany, this sensor is identical to the one sold at your local BMW dealer and is the highest quality we can supply. The BMW logo has been lightly sanded off so the product can be sold as an aftermarket item, providing us the opportunity to sell them at a greatly reduced price.
HELPFUL TIPS

When in doubt, we always recommend having the engine codes read from a BMW scan tool to pinpoint a suspect bad sensor.

BMW Code P0008 (Something related position sensor bank 1. Referring to misalignment of the timing chain) was solved instantly after replacing the intake camshaft sensor. If you are careful you will thing that your timing chain is misaligned. So replace the intake camshaft sensor that was bleeding oil with this is genuine OEM quality part and the car feels like new. Cleared OBD codes P0008, run the car for five minutes and take it for a drive. Scan again and note a single code was found. Another quick and efficient purchase from Lucas and Clickable. We are gradually working through a refresh on a 2003 E46 Clubsport - intermittent stalling which we narrowed down to the Camshaft Position Sensor.
