DESCRIPTION
This hydaulic tensioner keeps the accessories drive belt tight, ensuring there is enough traction for the air conditioning compressor to operate. Over time, the internal piston seals can degrade, leading to a failure of the air conditioning system. This a/c belt tensioner and pulley assembly comes from IPD Germany.
HELPFUL TIPS
It's a good idea to replace your a/c drive belt at the same time as your tensioner assembly.
