This pulley and lever attaches to the tensioner, ensuring there is enough traction from the main drive belt for the water pump and alternator to function. Something as simple as a loose belt can cause a failure of both the cooling and charging systems. Manufactured by INA, an original equipment supplier to BMW, and repackaged by IPD Germany.
