Description

The front lower control arms help to keep the wheels on-track and the suspension planted over bumps and through corners. Over time, the ball joints and bushes will degrade, causing a loose feeling that can lead to a potentially dangerous scenario. Manufactured as a direct replacement for the original ageing arms, they come complete with bush and ball joint pre-pressed for easy installation. Of the two lower control arms that come on the front of the X5, this fits to the rear mounting position, pointing from the wheel to the cabin. Made by original supplier Lemförder.

Helpful tips

When one component begins to wear out, it can transfer energy to other suspension parts, causing issues throughout the front-end that impacts ride, handling, and braking. If your X5 has a few kilometres under its belt, consider our Front Control Arm Overhaul kit, found at the bottom of this page.
