The crankcase ventilation oil separator (also known as the PCV and CCV) recirculates the small amount of blow-by gas, created by oil leaking past the rings in the combustion chamber. Over time, the valve can become clogged, causing oil to be pushed back and burnt in the combustion chamber and creating smoke and carbon deposits. Replace yours with this quality part from Germany's Febi-Bilstein.
Helpful tips
We recommend replacing both pressure regulator valves at the same time to ensure both cylinder banks are performing equally.
