DESCRIPTION

With the expansion tank being exposed to high pressures and temperatures, the plastic tank is known to crack and leak (particularly at the hose fittings). Without the correct amount of fluid in the cooling system, your BMW can overheat, causing expensive engine problems. With the high failure rate of ageing tanks, we recognise that the market has been flooded with notoriously cheap aftermarket replacements. This tank is made by Mahle, an original equipment supplier to BMW. Comes complete with coolant level sensor.

HELPFUL TIPS

Make sure you have enough coolant on hand before starting the job.

My expansion tank was leaking from the level sensor connection.
Bought the OEM replacement from Clickable. It took 10 mins to swap them out and a week later I'm 100% satisfied with the product. Perfect fit and comes with new level sensor fitting.
Would definitely recommend Clickable.

The new expansion tank took me all of 15 minutes to swap out. The ad did not show a picture in the cap and I was told they sometimes do and sometimes don't have them included. This one did which was perfect. The team answered a couple of questions for me in quick time so excellent customer support as well.

I have purchased a couple of times from Clickable Automotive and cannot fault thier support and speed of delivery.
