DESCRIPTION

The mass air flow sensor (or MAF) detects the volume of air coming into the engine so that the computer can accurately calculate the air/fuel ratio for the optimum performance and efficiency. As a sensitive intrument, the MAF sensor can become dirty and deteriorate over time, affecting its readings. Malfunctions can cause reduced performance, poor fuel economy, and the ominous ‘check engine’ light.

Good quality, but issue not fixed...

Lucas did mention that it may not fix the issue, but for the price I wanted to give it a try anyway.
At this price, it is almost a maintenance item like spark plugs.

Mass Air Flow Sensor - E46 Running Like New

My E46 was idling very roughly but a new MAFS from Clickable has brought it back to new.
This German made part was very reasonably priced from Clickable (as usual), so it was an easy choice to replace. Well done again Clickable, best BMW parts, best price, quickest delivery.

Great service with rough idle fixed!

Most people provide reviews that say how well things went and base their experience on things only going right...

My initial order got to me as fast as the previous ones with one issue - I had received the incorrect part!

So I emailed the guys letting them know they'd sent the wrong part. Within an our of my email Lucas had got back to me with the post 02 e46 MAF I needed being expressed to Cairns and a return shipping label for the one I was sent.

I cannot fault the way Clickable handled this as I needed the part quickly and they made sure that that happened.

In addition I was experiencing a rough idle from another MAF I bought for $90 and I cannot recommend that anyone buys anything but the Bosch brand for their e46s.
