Description

The crankshaft position sensor monitors the engine speed. Correct readings are vital for the car's computer to run the motor efficiently. If your sensor fails or is giving inaccurate or inconsistent readings, this will result in poor performance and fuel economy.

Helpful tips

Sometimes the o-ring can fail, creating oil leaks, but it's a good idea to replace the sensor at the same time for peace-of-mind.
