DESCRIPTION

The valve or rocker cover is a very common area for oil leaks to develop from the gasket. Over many years of engine heat cycles, the gasket can degrade and become hard, losing its seal. Reduce oil usage and ensure your vehicle is kept in roadworthy condition with this gasket set.

HELPFUL TIPS

Tracing an oil leak in a dirty engine bay can be tough work. First clean the engine and inspect where the leak originated.

N42 with an oil leak ? You aren't alone !
If it is from the cam cover, or you need to disturb the cam cover, then you will need to replace the gasket/seal as they go hard.
Clickable keep quality Elring kits which have the sensor seal (not shown) as well as the rubber seals.
Remember to only use a *small* dab of sealent on the half moons.

Better then the ones most mechanics use ????

Got mine done by a mechanic started leaking again after a couple months. Decided to buy one from these guys and do it myself, no leaks yet and good quality
