Filter Service Kit

When it's time to perform a service on your car, changing all of the filters can have a big impact on the longevity and performance of the car. To make things a little easier, we've put together this filter kit for the E53 X5. All filters come from original equipment supplier to BMW, Mann.

Mann Oil Filter

Your oil filter should be changed every time your oil is replaced. Ensure that the filter you fit to your BMW is designed to accommodate the correct oil flow rates whilst removing damaging debris from your engine. Includes a new gasket and washer. 

Mann Air Filter

The air filter ensures that only clean air enters your engine, but after prolonged use dirt and dust can clog up the pours within the filter, retarding engine performance and economy. We recommend replacing your air filter with a new one at least once a year. 

Mann Fuel Filter

If you've ever let your car run down to almost no fuel, then your fuel filter is probably clogged up with all of the muck that was previously sitting on the bottom of the fuel tank. It's job is to keep all of those contaminates out of your engine. After years of use, the fuel filter can limit the flow of clean fuel to the engine and stifle performance. We recommend replacing your fuel filter with this new unit once every 40,000 kilometres. 

Mann Cabin Microfilter

Often overlooked during maintenance, your cabin filter is there to reduce dirt, dust, hair, odours, and other contaminants from entering the cabin (and ultimately, your lungs). By replacing the cabin filter you will not only be breathing cleaner air, but your heating and air conditioning systems will be work more efficiently and last longer.
