DESCRIPTION

The valve or rocker cover gasket is a very common area for oil leaks to develop. Over many years of engine heat cycles, the gasket can degrade and become hard, losing its seal. Reduce oil usage and ensure your vehicle is kept in a roadworthy condition with this gasket set from Elring, original equipment supplier of gaskets to BMW.

Please note: One-time use only aluminium bolts must be replaced with this gasket. Sold separately.

Perfect fit. Combined with some aviation gasket goo top and bottom of the gasket which I paint on using the supplied gasket cardboard box. New bolts are a must torqued to 7Nm + 90 degrees. Be careful not to drop any as they are not magnetic so a real drama to get back if you do.
