Description

For driving enthusiasts, a number of the factory M3 parts are available as direct bolt-on items for all E8x 1 Series and E9x 3 Series models including the 135i and 335i. 

BMW's M engineers made some significant changes to the rear-end of the M3 from the regular 3-Series. A noticeable change was to the upper rear control arms, replacing the 'hollow' rolled steel arm with a solid aluminium design. The non-M arm is known to flex under hard acceleration that can compromise traction and overall vehicle dynamics. These lighter aluminium control arms feature fluid-free performance bushings to improve handling and driver feedback during spirited driving, without being overly harsh or unforgiving for everyday use. This kit is a great upgrade for all E8x 1 Series and E9x 3 Series models and will fit regardless of whether your car was optioned with M Sport suspension.

Helpful tips

An important upgrade for higher power applications, this kit is well suited to tuned vehicles looking to gain better traction. We offer three different M3 upgrades kits: Front Control Arms, these Rear Control Arms, and a Subframe Bushing set. For the best overall improvement, consider replacing the run-flat tyres with high-performance summer tyres.
