This kit from Clickable represents outstanding value.

A few years ago, I wanted to replace all of the handbrake components on a E46 330i. I gave the kit's BMW part number to my nearest dealer; they informed me that this kit is not available in Australia; each component has to be purchased separately. They sent me a quote to purchase all of the components; it was for over $500. I ended up purchasing the kit from the USA (Clickable did not sell this kit at the time).

Replacing the part-brake components is not very difficult. I suggest doing so every time you replace the rear brake discs, as the park-brake shoes can corrode away with time.
