Motul Gear 300 75W90 is a fully synthetic, high-performance gear oil designed to protect high-load differentials and transaxles under even the most extreme conditions. Whether you’re maintaining a road-going BMW or enjoying a spirited drive in your VW or Audi, Gear 300 offers excellent stability, wear protection, and long-term reliability.

Formulated with Ester-based synthetic technology, Gear 300 provides outstanding shear resistance, thermal stability, and anti-wear protection. It’s ideal for spirited driving and track use, yet refined enough for daily commuting—delivering smooth operation across a wide temperature range.

We primarily recommend Motul Gear 300 for open differentials or non-LSD applications where a high-quality 75W90 GL-4/GL-5 fluid is specified. It’s an ideal upgrade over lower-spec oils, offering smoother operation and superior film strength to protect gears and bearings.

Motul Gear 300 is well-suited to a wide range of BMW and VW/Audi models with manual gearboxes and open differentials. However, always enter your vehicle into QuickFinder or contact us for our fitment notes, as some models—especially certain BMWs—require 75W80 or other viscosity grades depending on transmission type and production date.
