DESCRIPTION

This hose connects from the oil separator to the valve/rocker cover. A common problem with modern BMWs is with the oil separator, or CCV system. Over time, the oil vapours the system that is designed to capture and recirculate can cause clogged lines and other blockages, resulting in oil leaks, reduced engine performance, and other issues. Replace yours with this quality part, manufactured by Febi-Bilstein. 

HELPFUL TIPS

We recommend ordering a complete set of hoses when working on the oil separator system. With age, the connectors become brittle or can prove difficult to remove, and the likelihood of them breaking is high.

Review

This replacement hose clipped right into place, and helps the engine bay to look like new. I knew I made the right decision to replace the hose when the old one broke coming off, and was caked with gunk on the inside. Price seems a little high, but once installed you won't look back.
