Description

This vent tube runs from the top of the oil separator to the back of the intake manifold. A common problem with modern BMWs is with the oil separator, or CVV system. Over time, the oil vapours the system is designed to capture and recirculate can cause clogged lines and other blockages, resulting in oil leaks, reduced engine performance, and other drivability issues. We offer this replacement hose from Febi Bilstein.

Please note that for the E46 323i and 323Ci, this hose is only suitable for vehicles built after 01/2000 if the tube is being replaced on its own. However, if all oil separator components are being replaced at the same time, this hose is suitable for all build dates. 

Helpful tips

We recommend ordering a complete set of hoses when working on the oil separator system. With age, the connectors become brittle or can prove difficult to remove, and the likelihood of them breaking is high.
