DESCRIPTION
The belt tensioner keeps the main drive belt tight on the X5, ensuring there is enough traction for the water pump and alternator to work. Something as simple as a loose belt can cause a failure of the cooling and charging systems. Manufactured by INA, an original equipment supplier to BMW, and repackaged by IPD Germany.
HELPFUL TIPS
It's a good idea to replace the tensioner pulley and lever at the same time.
