Power Steering Reservoir Cap Seal
A common cause of power steering fluid leaks, it's common to see this reservoir cap seal shrink so much that it stops doing its job. A quick and easy job, we offer these replacement BMW Genuine o-rings.
Description
Noticed a coating of fluid covering your power steering reservoir? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. Over time the o-ring that seals the reservoir cap to the reservoir can shrink and begin to leak. The good news? This is probably the easiest repair you can perform on your BMW. This is a BMW Genuine o-ring.
Helpful tips
Sometimes the o-ring will shrink so much that it makes it hard to see it's even in there. Make sure you remove the flattened seal before trying to install the new one.
