This hose connects from the oil separator to the lower oil dipstick tube. A common problem with modern BMWs is with the oil separator, or CVV system. Over time, the oil vapours the system is designed to capture and recirculate can cause clogged lines and other blockages, resulting in oil leaks, reduced engine performance, and other drivability issues. We offer this replacement hose from Rein, a repackaged BMW Genuine part.
Helpful tips
We recommend ordering a complete set of hoses when working on the oil separator system. With age, the connectors become brittle or can prove difficult to remove, and the likelihood of them breaking is high.
